Making flippy floppy

Talking Heads were one of the first bands I found through record hunting. Partially because all of their cover art was so unique, but mostly because you could dig up their whole discography in one afternoon at the flea market. I think you can still find a dollar copy of Speaking in Tongues on any given sunday.

Rhino/Wea recently released a 30th anniversary 8 disc set called "Talking Heads Brick". It's essentially all 8 of their albums, each disc containing rare demos and out take tracks. An early version of Once In A Lifetime called Right Start almost justifies the Steep price tag alone. Highly recommended.

KRAK is wack

Nothing says threatening quite like a mullet and fingerless gloves.
Remember NARC? The arcade game that taught us young ones to "Say No or Die!". I never realized that the Pixies wrote the theme song. I also recently uncoverd a nice cover version of Alec Eiffel by the Get Up Kids.

Do yourself a favor

Check this criminally slept on track off of Stevie's "Where I'm Coming From" album. Double down with an extra funky live cover by Edgar Winter & White Trash.
